Week 3: Planning for Podcast, English class begins

Okay so week 3 had come as well as the first english class. From now, I have to go to class from Monday till Friday so can't chill anymore, i guess. Anyway, English Advanced A started . In the first day, just like in Making Media class, it's pretty chill. There were like 20 students in the class i think. The lecturer of Reading and Writing classes is Jason Farina. He is about 30-40 years old i guess. We played some games to know each other a bit and know about some rules in the class. In the game " The wind blows ", a guy caught everybody attention in the class by asking a question if anyone like Obama. No one stands up and he said out pretty loud : " Oh my gosh, no one love Obama? You are all demons. I didn't stand up either because i don't love him. I like him, yes but love is something too much. Besides, everyone is trying to stay at their own seat so they would found anyway to avoid being stand up. It was a pretty fun game anyway.

Okay, let's talk about the Making Media class. I had to do some research in Tuesday morning and brought to school at noon to discuss with my partner about the podcast. We were able to plan out the structure for the podcast's script. At class, Erik told us about creating our own blog website. I used wordpress at first, but decided to switch to Wix later because I have more capabilities to change the website as I want. He gave the class a video in Youtube and asked the class some questions about the video. It's not really hard. I thought he want to guide a class decide the platform of the podcast, the way and the content about the podcast. About the team, I tried to write to summary and he would write the script since he said he had some experiences with it before . I finished the summary at class and gave him after class done.

In Thursday, we were able to meet Christoff, our Listening and Speaking lecturer, he also gave the class few rules just like Jason, but I feel like the class's impression about him is not really good. Maybe the way he talk was a bit drier and his class wasn't relax as Jason's one.

Oh also, we had to borrow books for library to read to get the reading points based on how many words we read. After quite a bit time, I was able to choose one book. It's name is Animorph because I heard good reviews about its Vietnamese version so kinda curious to read it in English because I haven't read it.

One more thing is, I know why students here tend to choose morning class now. It's must be because the traffic is extremely terrible in afternoon after class done. It took me 1 hours or more everyday afternoon to drive home and my butt hurted so much because I sit on the motorbike for too long, as well as my back. It had to carry my backpack for the hole 1 hour. Sometimes I feel like too old already @.@
