Week 5: Teacher's day and Rough cut feedbacks

Okay so here it come Teacher's day. I bought 2 presents for my 2 teachers in 2 class. Basically, I just want to give it with the hope that 2 lecturer can be more dedicated to answer and guide me through specific feedbacks. I don't like to send gifts to teachers back to my highschool days except my primary teacher because I really not appreciated them much. It is just a box of cupcake if you curious.

About Making Media class, in Tuesday as always, he showed us the rough cuts and gave us very specific and helpful feedbacks, he is funny in some way when giving those. I took note some of necessary ideas to improve my own. The feedback he gave us about our rough cut is mainly about my speech, he thought the script was written well with good design, happily. About my speech, he said it is a bit same same and sounds too unemotional, like it was read. There are few other things but those are minor. He also mentioned about the pronunciation of my partner. I thought I couldn't really do much about him so I would ignore those and do my own thing best as I could. I found some tips to improve my speech through Youtube and it helped me alot thankfully. We also recorded the audio file and submitted it on the last day. The technical modify work is mostly done by my partner and I find problems and give out solution fixing it with him. He did good work fixing those actually and even the final audio file is not really good, because we cannot book a room to record or files. But we tried our best and I satisfied with this.

In English class, I took the test for reading the book to count the words in Monday. The book was not bad actually. He asked me few question about the book to know if i read it or not. It was quite easy actually. After about 5 minutes answering those question, he gave me word count for my book. It was like 3/8 i think. And I thought it is not that hard to achieve 140000 word before it ends. I just need to read 2 more books, right ? I even went to a book store to find some English book to read. It was not necessary, honestly. There are too many words I don't know so it's so hard to read them. My friends often complain about reading test when they see a very long essay with many words. I am not. However, with books, it is too many differences. I want to finish second book of the sequel to ask for word count on Tuesday, but because some of my classmates had problems with the reading response 1. He need to guide them to do that and I forgot to give him the present. Im managed to give him the present on the next day and he thanked me for that.

Oh yeah, one more thing I should mention is that I started the Dancing class. On Wednesday, because the class continues the move from the previous class so I hadn't been taught it so basically I was slow compared to others. It took me few minutes practicing at home to catch up to them. In Friday, it was frustrating for me actually, because I was too slow compared with other when learning new moves. Since time is limit, they have to move fast and push the class to finish at time. And the fact I can't do it properly like others makes me unhappy. There are plenty people slow as me obviously, but somehow I frustrated quite a lot. I should learn to restrain it and deal with it in the future.
