Week 6: New assignment - new team

Hmmm, it is good to finish your deadline and have some time resting yourself. If you are in Vietnam, everyone know there is a storm coming, right? Ho Chi Minh city, where I'm living, had been rained from Satuday night till Monday morning because of the storm. It rained the hole Sunday and I can't go anywhere outside my home xD. I feel poor for the people have to go outside in Sunday. I am pretty lucky because my dermatoglyphics workshop have been cancelled because of the storm on Saturday, so I can book a day to have a talk 1 on 1 with their consultant. Anyway let's back to the schedule in RMIT this week.

So, in media class, Mr. Erik introduced us a new assignment, asking for a group from 3 or 4 people to join in. I found a group to join having 2 members before and they already decided their topic. It's charity and I found that is promising, too. I also don't like to work with a person whose English is quite bad like that in an assignment which required too much writing. I am also pretty sure that he also don't want to work with me, either. He thought I always decide to to everything and his idea doesn't mean anything. Actually, it is not bad like that but since he can't point out what can he do well, I can do nothing about it. Okay so I will work with 2 girls, Nhã and Thúy, which are both older than me. In this assignment, I cannot do this alone because literally, I don't have a wide relationship with people. So, it will be so difficult for me to find one who is interesting and ask them for an interesting story. It is important to know your limitation. Mah, I encountered a very frustrating problem afterward. In the discussion of the group, I'm pretty sure because of one of the member's stress, she had been quite aggressive with me because of some small problem. And even though I'm so frustrating at that time ( sorry I used this word too many times ), I need to force out an apology even though I didn't do anything wrong. It marked in my mind for few days really. And I had a bad impression about teamwork, really. I need to learn making concessions.

About english class, teachers introduced us the workshops in nest week, and there are some interesting workshops. Daniel, Spanish guy, suggested our table to go all the workshops and yeah, we all agreed. I would gain a lot knowledge so ... why not ? I also took the microlistening test on Friday. Christoff gave us some really hard micro listening test. It's just a practice test but those are pretty hard, to be honest. The real exam is much easier. Even though I come to the room taking the test when it almost late. Things get more confused when I don't have my Student card. Happily, I managed to get in the room for test and do it not too bad, I guess. Later on, we have other teacher in class. He is Christoff's friend who come to teach us because Christoff is already gone for golf, that's what my friend said. He is really good actually, very devoting and helpful. I like the way he teach, an inspiring teacher.
